Reflections on Water

Reflections on Water was written for Drumcombinatie Afferden-Puiflijk (DCAP) on behalf of Melvin Puijn.
Special about this composition is the use of the Kalima within the ensemble. Furthermore, the piece is composed with relatively simple melodic parts and more difficult untuned parts.

The work reflects the different “movements” of water, from changing patterns and reflections on the water surface to turbulent waves.

Note: The Kalimba part can be replaced with a glockenspiel or vibraphone at your own discretion.
